I consider applications for Master students with prior experience in Machine Learning and/or Computational Physics for a long internship (6 months).
A non comprehnsive list of my current research interest can be found at this link. Topics covered by other PhD/Postdoctoral openings are also to considered as part of my research interests.
Something not mentioned there is also the possibility to work on a software project instead of a physics project (like building a hugging-face like system for Neural wavefunction, making tooling for the group, developing easy layers to run simulations and configuration files for our simulations, setting up auto-benchmark CI for our software projects...). Those projects usually lead to a software publication.
When applying, please mention what are your competences, strengths and weaknesses, what approximate direction you'd like to work on (more methodological or more physics/application of methods to solve problems, whether you'd prefer something that is very algorithmically technical and challenging or something more balanced...).
